Mexican citizens traveling to Mexico are permitted to enter the country with an expired passport; however,
they are required to prove Mexican citizenship by showing 1 of the following documents along with their passport.
- Birth certificate
- Mex. driver's license
- Voter registration card
- Matrícula
If the PAX does not have a passport at all, they must prove Mexican citizenship by showing 2 of the following documents.
- Birth certificate
- Mex. driver's license
- Voter registration card
- Matrícula
